I have been an educator for almost 30 years, starting with individual drum lessons, I then studied music education, elementary education, and early childhood development at the University of Montana. I have taught in both K-12 public and private schools, workshops, and individual study on multiple instruments and disciplines, and continue my own growth through education and performance. All lessons are offered to children, teens, and adults!

Current programs offered:

-SONGWRITER COACHING. From the complete beginner to the seasoned professional, I can help you start writing, or reinvigorate you current writing. Meeting weekly to discuss process, how songs work, and work on your songs. Open to everyone, ages 16+, 1/hour

-SONGWRITER WORKSHOPS. Meets weekly for 5 weeks focusing on process, writing new material, and sharing your songs with others, which allows for an open discussion and helps you learn to present your songs in front of an audience. Open to everyone, ages 16+ TBA

-HOME RECORDING. Starting with the basics of gear and process, you will learn how to use the equipment and make your own recordings at home. Meeting weekly for 5+ weeks, this is a boot camp of sorts, to get you up and running. Open to everyone, ages 16+, 1/hour

-VOCAL COACHING. I am firm believer that everyone can sing. Learn how to use you voice as a beginner, or learn how to use and control your voice better. Learn to sing with your own voice, and develop who you are as a singer. Open to everyone, ages 16+ 30/minutes-1/hour

-BEGINNER PIANO. The old classic! Learn the basic fundamentals to start your journey on piano. Open to everyone, ages 8+ 30/minutes

-BEGINNER to INTERMEDIATE DRUMSET AND PERCUSSION. The old favorite! Learn to play the drums! These lessons can start you from scratch, or help you continue your progression. It can also provide additional learning to go along with middle and high school music programs. Open to everyone, ages 8+, 30/minutes-1/hour
